Rock Salt

Rock salt is a standard, economical chemical for deicing roadways and sidewalks. Our bulk highway salts meet the industry-standard ASTM specification.  Rock salt – sodium chloride, or NaCL – has remained an industry standard due to its ability to melt ice at temperatures down to its eutectic point of -6 °F.  And because the most important variable of a deicer’s effectiveness is not air temperature but pavement temperature, rock salt continues to be an effective deicer in many US locations through most of the winter season.

SnowSlicer

SnowSlicer is the same effective formulation of our ProSlicer in bulk truckloads. A high-performance treated rock salt, SnowSlicer is one of the best values in pre-treated deicers available. Melts down to a low temperature of -20 °F.  SnowSlicer is treated with a deep purple liquid deicer that will lower the freezing point as well as eliminate the bounce usually associated with applying dry rock salt. SnowSlicer‘s special carbohydrate treatment also reduces corrosion.

Clear Lane

Clear lane is an enhanced ice melter in bulk truckloads.  The product is regular rock salt that is pre-wet and treated with liquid magnesium chloride, a corrosion inhibitor, and a coloring agent. The liquid treatment provides many benefits that help users reduce deicing materials costs, impact on the environment, and corrosion to their application equipment.
